Outcome
Created a modular, scalable UX framework that cut clicks from 5 to 1 and improved adoption with over 80% pilot user return.

In just eight weeks, our team transformed a fragmented experience into a streamlined JPMorgan Chase Manager Dashboard, which was launched to over 54,000 managers across the firm. This work required fast, strategic thinking, strong collaboration, and close partnership with both product and development teams.

Reduced attendance data load time by 97% and streamlined access to key attendance data from 5 clicks to 1, saving managers significant time on tasks.

With the right data surfaced, managers could act proactively, prioritize interventions, and reduce compliance issues. Pilot testing showed over 80% of users returned, demonstrating trust and usability improvements.

Cut development cycles by ≈ 25% with a modular design framework, strengthened compliance with role-based access, and built flexibility to scale across teams without costly redesigns.

User Testimonial

"This dashboard has completely transformed how our managers access and utilize attendance data. What was once frustration, time- consuming process is now seamless and insightful, allowing our leadership team to make more informed decisions."

Problem

Managers weren’t asking for more tools—they were asking for better ones. They needed consolidated data, clearer policies, and faster workflows so they could focus less on administration and more on their people.

Managers are stretched thin—juggling daily responsibilities while spending too much time on administrative tasks. We conducted surveys, usability tests, and in-depth interviews with managers and stakeholders across multiple lines of business and levels of experience. This helped us uncover their goals, pain points, and workflows.

  • Too much time lost to admin work: Managers wanted to coach and support employees, not just enforce policy. But existing tools made even simple tasks—like finding policies or sharing data—time-consuming.

  • Fragmented data, missing the full picture: Managers weren’t lacking access, but key data points were scattered or unavailable. Without a consolidated view, they couldn’t easily understand why attendance was low. We solved this by surfacing all related data in one click, giving them the full context.

  • Slow and clunky tools: Our audit showed slow load times and excessive clicks just to access basic information, creating unnecessary friction.

Role

Drove two parallel design efforts: leading the administrative framework that gave product teams control over feature visibility and timing, while co-designing the Manager Dashboard MVP with fellow UX peers.

I contributed to the design for the Manager Dashboard MVP with two other designers while also individually leading the design framework for its security capabilities, enabling HR business leaders to control feature and data visibility.

As part of a three-designer team, I aided in early research, design iterations, and collaboration with product and development to ensure both tools met user needs and business goals.

Lead UX

Accelerated development readiness by creating and leading the UX roadmap for the Administrative Tool. In addition, ledmeetings for collaborating cross-functionally with other teams to resolve conflicts and ensure timely, actionable design handoffs each sprint.

Research

Brought to light managers goals by driving early research for the Manager Dashboard MVP; conducted interviews, synthesized findings into journey maps and flows, and used insights to explain design decisions with credibility.

Cross Collaboration

Enhanced Admin Dashboard usability by collaborating with a UX researchers, incorporating usability studies to support redesigns presented to executives

Turning Constraints Into Collaboration

The biggest challenge was time. We had only two and a half months to complete a full redesign of the administrative dashboard and prepare everything for developer handoff—while I was also supporting work on the managers’ dashboard. This created two main risks: scope creep and misalignment between teams.

To overcome these, I built a clear UX roadmap that visualized the impact of adding new work, which helped product leaders make informed trade-offs. I also set up recurring communication with developers and product managers, and invited engineers into early brainstorming sessions. This not only kept us aligned but also leveraged their unique perspectives on design feasibility and patterns they had seen work in other products.

These constraints forced me to be highly adaptable, organized, and collaborative—skills that ultimately kept the redesign on track and delivered without wasted time.
